Turmeric tea alleviates pain

I handle my entire workload from a computer.

That means I spend approximately eight hours per day typing on a keyboard and staring at a screen.

Not too long ago, I started to have issues with pain in my right arm. I researched my symptoms and figured out that I was most likely dealing with tennis elbow which is caused by overuse of the muscles. I tried switching from using a trackpad to a mouse, but this didn’t make much difference. I tried ice, heating pads, lifting weights, various stretches and even took vitamins. The pain continued to worsen and I figured I’d need to make an appointment with the doctor. I wasn’t thrilled with the idea of taking prescription medication. I prefer to stick with natural remedies. My mother is the one who recommended taking turmeric. She suggested that I start drinking turmeric tea to take advantage of its anti-inflammatory properties. The tea is brewed with a variety of spices and has a rich, earthy taste. It is a bit bitter, and I’m not a big fan of the flavor. I need to force myself to drink it, but I’m willing because of the many health benefits. Turmeric is often used to treat the pain symptoms of arthritis. It’s also supposed to accelerate weight loss, whiten teeth and fight off the bacteria that causes cavities and gum disease. I’m just relieved that by drinking one cup of the tea per day, I’ve managed to get rid of the pain in my arm almost entirely. Every now and then, I feel an ache in my elbow, and I simply force myself to drink down a second cup of tea.
