I used to not really worry about the terrible indoor air quality in my house.
- Indoor air quality isn’t really something that you’re obsessed with on a general basis, unless you happen to have some kind of problem with allergies or with your lungs, I guess.
I mean, if the house smelled bad I would sometimes wish that we had an air purification system or something, but I never cared about it enough to actually do anything about it. Nope, the indoor air quality really meant nothing to me up until the time we had our first child a year ago. After we had our first child just after the end of March last year, I became obsessed with checking on the indoor air quality in our house. I tested it and worried about it all the time. I wanted to know exactly what the baby was breathing in and how much of it she was breathing in! The indoor air quality became almost like a hobby of mine. My preoccupation with our HVAC system, the ventilation system, and the indoor air quality got so bad that my husband told me that we had to purchase the best whole home air purification system on the market. He purchased a whole home air purification system from our HVAC company and had it installed for me as part of my birthday present. He told me later that he really purchased it for himself because he was sick and tired of hearing me complain about the baby and our awful indoor air quality in our house.
