My pals & I did something that is actually incredibly non traditional.
There are quite a few of us, several couples, & the group of us just all bought a sizable residence together. It seems basically like a plan packed with potential risks & concerns. However, the bunch of us did the right thing & got a lawyer involved so that we have all of our interests covered. Additionally, the residence has several floors, so the group of us is going to have several separate living spaces within the one residence. But, there will be a pretty large communal area with all the bells & whistles. The Heating, Ventilation & A/C machine renovation was the first thing we had to get at. There was an old, antiquated central HVAC machine that was in pretty lousy shape & wouldn’t suit our purposes anyway. So, the bunch of us ripped all of that out. The Heating, Ventilation & A/C company the bunch of us met with strongly proposed that the bunch of us go with ductless heating & cooling machine options. First, they were much more efficient & the technology is a really nice energy saver. All of us will each have two ductless units on our individual living spaces. This also allows us to have completely independent thermostat settings. Additionally, the group of us will be able to individually track the power usage and there will be an equitable utility cost sharing. I didn’t honestly realize how effective the ductless HVAC machines were. They are really a current Heating, Ventilation & A/C machine shrunk down that doesn’t need ducts to supply Heating, Ventilation & A/C treated air. The A/C condenser device will rest outside the residence & the units are affixed by copper tubing. The fact that the lot of us don’t use the ducts is a giant cost saver. It is absolutely stunning the amount of heated & freezing that is lost due to Heating, Ventilation & A/C treated air being delivered in a residence through the system of ductwork. I assume the group of us have discovered a rather creative way to address a rather creative way to own a residence.
